CCA 301 Sent to Heal and Anoint (formerly called Part 5). The disciples of Jesus were sent out in ministry to heal and anoint others. We today have the opportunity to answer that same call to create healing ministries using essential oils with compassionate healing touch. This 20-hour course introduces the student to the healing power of anointing oils that formed the medicine chest of the biblical times. Anointing for healing has both ancient and modern roots. Many of these aromatic oils will be described along with their healing properties relevant for our modern day. Anointing with oils will then be used in a variety of heart-centered healing modalities that flow from the laying-on of hands and Christian traditions. CCA 302 Essential Oils for Physical Health and Well-Being (formerly called Part 9) This 24-hour course builds on the information presented in the Sent to Heal and Anoint course (CCA 301). It looks deeper into the healing qualities of certain essential oils known to be helpful for the physical body, namely those that promote healthy skin, aid the body’s natural defenses, promote general health, vitality and longevity, improve nutrition and boost stamina and energy. The basic chemistry of these oils is discussed along with the oil’s vibrational frequencies, toxicity and essential oil safety. The students are then led in a series of heart-centered healing techniques utilizing energetic healing and aromatherapy. Tuition: $480, $240 for repeaters and $360 for full-time students
CCA 303 Essential Oils for Emotional and Spiritual Clearing (formerly called Part 10). This 20 hour advanced course continues the healing work presented in CCA 302. It begins with the history and modern development of essential oils, the basics of taxonomy, and the incorporation of essential oils into a holistic healing practice. The course will then examine the healing qualities of certain essential oils known to be helpful for emotional and spiritual clearing—elevating moods, mental clarity, reduction of anxiety and stress and that are spiritually uplifting and aid meditation. The chemistry of these oils will be explored along with the oil’s vibrational frequencies and essential oil safety. Students will be led in a series of heart-centered healing techniques utilizing energetic healing and aromatherapy. CCA 302 is a pre-requisite to taking this course. (After January 1, 2007, tuition will be $400)
